I am obsessed with furniture—the idea that there might be something spectacular just waiting around the next corner. Besides, our tastes and needs change as we age, and I think that evolution should be reflected in our furniture.

The best times to find furniture bargains are in January and July. If you’re looking for a good deal on outdoor furniture, wait until August–you’ll be sitting pretty the next time summer rolls around.

If you see something you like in a store or magazine, check DirectBuy showrooms that offer an unmatched selection of high-quality brand-name products, appliances, and furnishings.

Practically everything you can imagine to build or remodel your home, and create the comfortable, stylish environment you’ve always wanted – all directbuy from the manufacturer and their authorized suppliers.

Adding storage can be expensive, so unless you’re ready to part with the dollars your first step should be to revamp your existing closets. You can maximize your storage in closets for less money than you might think.

So before you decide how much storage you need, decide what you can throw away, sell, or donate.

Start emptying the closets, one at a time, putting items in three piles:

1. Things to keep… that will stay in the closet
2. Things to dispose of… trash, donate, sell
3. Things that are stored in the wrong place… put in a plastic bin to tote to other areas

Just getting rid of unused clothes and other items is sometimes all it takes to make closets appear larger than they truly are. So get started and look at everything with a critical eye. If you haven’t worn the plus size clothing for two years, do you really need to keep it?

I absolutely love this Boon Flair Pedestal Highchair With Pneumatic Lift.

The sleek look of Boon Flair Pedestal Highchair With Pneumatic Lift was the first thing to grab me as I researched, but the overall design really delivers: The footprint is nice-sized taking up less real estate than the splayed legs design of most high chairs, and its being on a hydraulic lift allows us to have the baby down at the kitchen table with us, or up at the breakfast bar. (and hydraulic? so cool and so smart)

The chair, seat pad and tray are all wipe-clean molded-plastic: no crevices for crumbs to collect and fester. The straps are really soft and the buckle is definitely nicer quality than on any other item we own (the vibro chair, the swing, the car seat).

The tray is simple to place and remove, and again, with smooth mechanics. Plus with the Boon Flair Pedestal Highchair With Pneumatic Lift being on wheels, I can just roll the baby over to the sink when the meal is finished to wash him and wipe the chair down.

New trends are constantly popping up all of the time: bellbottom jeans, shoulder bags and bold, obnoxious jewelry. It is unavoidable that trends will come and go. The new trend is called the Amy Winehouse Effect.

It really does seem as though everyone, at least in Hollywood, is going to drug or alcohol rehab centers. Rehab centers have seemed to become celebrities’ second homes.

For me, Lindsay Lohan is the first person that comes to mind. For her, drinking and drugs are the norm. Before that, there was Mary Kate Olsen, who could hardly be seen to the naked eye as her tiny frame dwindled before the media’s eyes.

Eva Mendes surprised me. Soon after that, there was Kirsten Dunst. This was not a shocker in my opinion. She had crazy written all over her face.

And, well, let’s not even get started on Britney, or her pregnant 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn. Believe it or not, the elder Spears once said, “I always try and remember that everything is going to be all right as long as I stay grounded and remember that I’m surrounded by love.” Seriously?

Either way, rehab in Hollywood is about as common as changing underwear these days, and the way I see it, this is a problem—a major problem.

Are you getting cheap car insurance? Here are 5 ways to change your current car insurance into cheap car insurance.

1. Ask for a Multiple Car Discount: Did you know sometimes insuring two cars can be the same price as insuring one? If not the same price, insuring another car usually does not cost as much as you may think.

If you have two cars, it is very wise to check with your insurance agent, or while obtaining your online insurance quote, to make sure you can get this discount on your car insurance.

2. Stick With Yearly Policies: Choosing a yearly policy can extend your savings on your car insurance. Purchasing a yearly policy instead of a six month policy gives you a rate that cannot be changed for one year vs. changing every six months.

3. Look Into Comprehensive Storage Coverage: If you are planning to store your car for any period of time, you can save on your car insurance by only keeping comprehensive coverage during the storage time. Since the car would be stored, it is very unlikely it will get in a collision or need the liability coverage.

4. Re-Check Your Mileage: This is a great way to get cheap car insurance: If you are really close to the “miles to work” break-off, you may want to check your mileage closely. When your car insurance company or insurance agent asks you “How many miles do you drive to work one way?” this is a crucial question that will designate you into a particular class. Each class can have significant differences in prices.

5. Get Theft Devices: Most new cars have theft devices. Some are automatic and some have to be started at the touch of a button, but all usually get discounts on car insurance. Also, some states provide extra discounts for such things as window sketching.

While we may be doing an excellent job of maintaining our living areas, occasionally we need to do more than maintenance. Take the time to review what goes into a living room spring clean up.

Here are tips for spring cleaning your living room:

1. Begin with a 15 minute living room cleanup. This will clear out the clutter and give you room to do the actual spring clean up. Don’t worry about cleaning the floors in the 15 minute clean up. We will do this later.

2. Dust down the ceiling and corners of walls. Determine if the walls need washed in dirty spots. Spot wash, remembering air vents, doorknobs, doors, and switch plates.

3. Dust and clean all art and photographs along the wall. Be careful when cleaning framed art and photographs. Never spray cleanser or water onto the frame. The liquid can seep behind the glass and damage the pictures. Instead lightly wet a clean cloth to wipe the frame and glass.

Drug rehab centers have become homes to many famous celebrities. Kirsten Dunst was said to have checked into a drug rehab which has also been known to other celebrities like Eva Mendes and Lindsay Lohan.

This may not be so surprising to see another celebrity like Kirsten Dunst being in a rehab. It was only a little while ago when famous singer, Britney Spears, was admitted into Psychiatric ward. Britney Spears is only one of the high profile celebrities who have been in and out of rehab.

Amongst these famous celebrities who have been in rehab is the all time party girl, Lindsay Lohan, who was admitted for her drinking problem. Lindsay Lohan was once a role model to young teenagers and someone that parents would consider to be a great celebrity for their children to look up too just like Britney Spears once was.

Amy Winehouse is another celebrity singer who had entered rehab for crack cocaine. The irony of Amy Winehouse entering a drug rehabilitation facility is that she plainly stated in hit song, Rehab, that they told her to go to rehab and she said no, no, no.
