Baker's Edge Nonstick Edge Brownie PanWhen I got married more than 10 years ago, my mom reminded me that it’s worth it to buy good quality cookware even if it seemed extravagant. So I listened to my mom and bought the top of the line cookware. To date, I am still using that same dutch oven, sauce pan, and skillet, and right now I think they will probably last longer than I will!

When I first saw the price of the Baker’s Edge Nonstick Edge Brownie Pan after searching for cheap term life insurance information, I hesitated. I knew the pan would produce better brownies, breads, casseroles, and just about anything I wanted to try. Well, I remembered my mom’s advice and decided to purchase the pan.

This Baker’s Edge Nonstick Edge Brownie Pan really makes terrific brownies and the non-stick surface releases them with the greatest of ease. Things cook evenly so no more dry edges and too-gooey centers.

When it comes to kitchen appliances, I love introducing KitchenAid‘s appliances. It’s a reputable brand name that doesn’t need you to think twice.

I love the design of this blender! Because the container is ONE molded piece with the blade inside, there is NO leaking or messing with rubber gaskets or taking it apart to clean. I can even blend and store any extra smoothie in the fridge!

Draining holes are a smart idea, too — you don’t end up with a puddle of water when you wash it and put it upside down to drain, the water drains out!

I’ve been using it to make smoothies from frozen fruit. The Kitchen Aid makes short work of it, with nice smooth texture.

I will introduce a few more kitchen appliances as Mother’s Day gifts after I finish my closed captioning project, so do come back and check out.

Are you still thinking what to buy for your mom or grandmas as Mother’s Day gift? What about a KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker?

I bought this ice cream maker for my mom last year. Actually, it’s because I love eating ice cream so much that I would like my mom to do often.

Since then, my mom has made countless batches of ice cream and all have tasted great.

My mom usually puts it in the freezer for a half hour before serving. She only cools the ingredients for an hour – but she also does not use the recipe that requires cooking. She uses 2 cups heavy cream, 2 cups half and half and 1 cup whole milk with 3/4 cup sugar and 3 tsp vanilla with a half cup of cocoa.

As far as having to freeze the container for 15 hours she just keeps it in the freezer so it is always ready. Both my mom and I are very pleased.
