Bathroom Accessories

While searching for diets that work a few days ago, one of our tenants called. He informed us that the neighbor next door made a complaint to him.

What’s that? It seems that one of the toilets/bathrooms in the house is leaking and the neighbor’s wall is suffering from water seeping in through the walls. Urgh, water leak again!

We just spent more than $1,000 on 2 leaking toilets/bathrooms in June. Now the third bathroom is leaking. This means another $800 to $1,000 is needed to find the leak and change the old toilet bowl and pipes with new ones. Ouch!

It’s the 6th of January now and the landlord still comes by every day to fix the kitchen and bathroom sinks.

I find it funny that the landlord keeps buying the wrong size of sinks, bolts, nails and door knobs. Doesn’t he get the correct measure first before he heads to the hardware store?

Just now he came and install the pipe of the kitchen sink. Guess what? Too big. Argh, he said he would come again tomorrow!

To be honest, I don’t feel comfortable when he is around. I don’t like any of my niche blogs or searches on Outer Banks rentals to be viewed by him.

I hope he can really finish his work by the end of this week. :-(

Hubby is still thinking of asking the landlord to install Toto sinks or any other brand name sinks for the bathroom and kitchen.

Well, I don’t mind if there isn’t any bathroom sink. But there must be one for the kitchen!

Isn’t it weird to not have a sink to wash dishes, hands and vegetables when you are in the kitchen? It’s definitely very inconvenient when it comes to cooking, right?

Judging from our observation, we doubt the landlord will agree to install two sinks at one time!

You know, my clumsy brother in law asked me if he could use my computer to play games last week. Luckily I said NO.

After seeing how capable he is when it comes to breaking and damaging home appliances and bathroom accessories, I am glad that I turned down his request of using my computer to play games.

There is no way I will give him any chance to damage my lcd monitor, keyboard or CPU.

He could damage the Medline bathtub bar that was sturdily installed in the bathroom. Imagine how easy it is for him to damage my fragile monitor, keyboard and CPU!

I have already warned him not to go near my computer desk or touch any of my stuff.

There went my Medline Bathtub Bar! Another reason why I hate my brother in law to stay with us!!

Or I shall say to live with us. It looks like he is not going back to the city to work anymore.

My brother in law is a clumsy fellow. He is 5 feet 9 inches and very big sized. Due to his clumsiness, he is good at breaking and damaging household appliances and bathroom accessories.

The latest is the Medline bathtub bar that was installed in the bathroom to give the elders the security of a handrail while using the shower.

It’s a very sturdy bathtub bar. I really don’t know how the hell he could pull it off.

Bathroom AccessoriesSpeaking of the possibility of accessorizing the bathrooms the end of the year, I object vehemently to hubby’s suggestion.

If his brother moves back to live with us, then it’s possible that we will move out. So, no point wasting money on accessorizing the bathrooms. Don’t waste the discounted bathroom accessories that I collected during the sales.

You know, I love using the money made from selling baby crib bedding sets and acne treatment products to buy discount bathroom accessories when there are sales and bargains.

They come in handy when it comes to the time to remodel the bathrooms.

I am glad that I was able to help a buddy who was in need of buying some bathroom safety products such as shower chairs, grab bars and bathroom accessories.

She needed the safety products fast because her dementia mom was moving in to live with her starting this week.

Her brother had announced that he had had enough of caring his aging dementia mom. Oh, dear! Could you believe that?

I hope my buddy’s brother remember one thing – he will get old too! He may suffer from dementia too!
