House Cleaning Tips

Okay, I am ready to shop for laptop speakers! ^.^

Just came back from a long shower after doing the housework for more than an hour. It’s unbelievable that the kitchen could be so filthy even though I did a bit of cleaning here and there whenever I was free.

I am even more adamant that I will live in a smaller house once hubby and I work full time from home. Urgh, I am really scared of doing housework!

I am glad that my mood of doing household chores is back. Like last night, I dusted the computers and hdmi video cables even though it’s already midnight.

Honestly, if I can hire a part time maid, I will do so. Hubby is fine with the idea of hiring a part time maid to clean the house weekly since it really doesn’t cost much to hire one.

MadI really don’t understand why my sister-in-law is so lazy now. She used to be very hardworking last time.

She always listened to my or hubby’s order whenever we needed her to do some home cleaning. She also took very good care of the things in the old house.

Now? Sigh. Another week went by and the old house was still dusty and messy when we went back last night.

Instead of waiting for her to clean the house, I did it myself. As for hubby, he tried to change the old Grohe faucet with a new one before he went out to have fun with his buddies at night.

I am very tired now after a few hours’ cleaning at the old house last night!

Woman Doing HouseworkI love living in my current rented flat. There is less dust in the house compared to my old house.

At my old place, I have to clean my house, especially my bedroom, every few days because of accumulating dust.

But at the new place, it’s been more than a week we lived here and there isn’t much dust.

Of course, I will still buy allergy bedding. Who knows? Maybe hubby and I will go back and live in the old house again in future.

It’s likely.

I think the reason why my mattress is full of nasty critters and bedbugs is because I haven’t cleaned the mattress for a long time.

Serve me right that I have been bitten by the bugs these few days!

Now after I throw out some empty bottles of diet and appetite suppressant pills on the makeup table, I should go and clean the mattress.

After cleaning and airing the mattress, I will use my Pronto Spray to kill the bedbugs by spot treating only areas that may harbor bedbug eggs and critters.

Although I was given tips on how to clean dried floral arrangements, I decided to get rid of the dried flowers after hubby and I moved back to the little village.

It’s fine to have those dried flowers in the cool highlands because of the cool climate and clean environment.

But it’s not okay in the little village I am living now. It’s hot here throughout the year.

There seems to be more dust accumulating on the surface of every furniture piece and decor item. I don’t want to waste too much time on dusting and cleaning. :-)

BedbugsThere are bugs in my bed and hubby’s that we have to turn the air-cond on for longer hours at night.

Previously, I turned off the air-cond before 12 am. Now I can only turn it off after 2 am.

I’s funny. When the room is cold, the bugs seem to be sleeping. But when the room is warm, they seem to come out and have fun biting me and hubby.

Something must be done tomorrow to really get rid of bed lice. Any suggestions other than lice spray?

Apparently, there’s nothing wrong with my internet connection. It’s my web hosting service provider running its periodic maintenance just now.

As I couldn’t access all my blogs, I had to spend my time doing some sofa cleaning. If you were in my house, you would faint after seeing a thick layer of dust on my leather sofa. :-)

I managed to give the indoor leafy plants some trimmings too. Poor plants! I didn’t even remember when the last time I trimmed them.

Now there is a basket of full of dirty rags, kitchen towels, sofa covers and my low-rise, side-zip breeches that needs to be washed.

As usual, hubby will do the laundry for me.
