I purchased this LED magnifier primarily to help my mom read the small print of the Oxford English Dictionary.
Before buying this magnifier, my mom was holding a large magnifying glass over each OED page for lengthy periods of time and watching herself develop Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
This LED magnifier lays flat on the page and magnify 2X over the larger area with a smaller 6X area for tougher print. It makes all the difference between squinting to see and reading with ease.
