Mutual Funds VS Gold Coins March 9, 2010
Posted by Vedis The Home Lover in : Money Management , comments closedThanks to my AKPK debt management program that I am able to save up some money.
With increasing savings in the bank, I am thinking of investing in mutual funds or gold coins.
I had luck with mutual funds before I was deeply in credit card debt, so it’s natural that I wanted to invest in mutual funds again. However, my blogging pal suggested otherwise.
According to her, she has been making way more money from golds than mutual funds these few years.
So, what do you think?
No Extra Money In Hand To Buy Cheap Growth Stocks June 27, 2009
Posted by Vedis The Home Lover in : Money Management , comments closedI really hope I have extra money in hand to buy some stocks. The other day, my sister told me to buy some cheap growth stocks while a neighbor shared with me a stock that was speculated to bring long-term earnings growth rate.
With my credit card debt and overdue car and home loan installments, buying stocks is out of the question for the time being.
Find Out If Debt Consolidation Is For You April 16, 2009
Posted by Vedis The Home Lover in : Money Management , comments closedOne of my buddies decided to seek help from a credit counselor and find out if debt consolidation is for her.
She is so loaded with credit card debt, student loan, car loan and home mortgage loan that she finds it impossible to pay another month’s bills.
She is so freaked out each time the phone rings or the mail box is stuffed with warning letters and legal notices from her creditors and credit card companies.
I understand how she feels. I was once like her too before I enrolled in a debt management program.
Keeping Your Job Is More Important Than Getting Bonus, Overtime Pay Or Incentive Trip March 19, 2009
Posted by Vedis The Home Lover in : Money Management , comments closedMy sister called up and grumbled that there wouldn’t be any company trip this year. Last year, she was entitled to one of the companies’ yearly Caribbean cruises.
Dear sister, you should be happy to still have a job in this looming recession. It’s okay if there is no bonus, overtime pay or incentive trip this year.
Keeping your job now is your utmost priority. Without a job, you’ll have no money to pay your home mortgage, auto loan and credit card debt. There are also utility bills, children tuition fees, meal expenses, grocery spending and the list goes on.
Hope To Make Las Vegas Hotel Reservations Now November 26, 2008
Posted by Vedis The Home Lover in : Money Management , comments closedHow I wish I could make my las vegas hotel reservations this year instead of next year!
Although I can’t wait for an oversea vacation, I still have to wait. It’s going to next year after I settle some of my credit card debt. By then too, my niche blogs and stores will have been on auto-pilot.
By then too, hubby’s massage center should have been stable in terms of sales and workers.
